Swedish Census 1880


The 1880 Swedish Census is now available on CD! The CD includes over 4.6 million records--all persons who were registered in a Swedish parish at the end of the year 1880. The records contain:
  • residence
  • parish
  • last & first names
  • occupation
  • birth year & parish of birth
  • other household residents with their birth years and birth parishes, and sometimes their relationship to the head-of-household.
Similar to the CDs Swedish Census 1890 and Swedish Census 1900, the CD has sophisticated search capabilities using any of the data fields. Data for this census was compiled from clerical surveys conducted by each parish. This CD is a wonderful tool for finding the birth parish of your Swedish ancestors or discovering those relations left behind in Sweden!

This CD is bilingual, with both Swedish and English interfaces available on the same CD. System requirements are Windows 98 or higher, 128 MB of RAM, 16-bit color, and 510 MB of free hard disk space.
